Ronora Lodge & Retreat Center is a rustic venue ideal for retreats, reunions, weddings, groups, couples getaways, and more. Visitors enjoy recreation areas, a peaceful natural environment, equine-assisted learning, and creative meal plans.
Nestled on 350 lovely, quiet acres, much of it designated as Redtail Nature Preserve, Ronora has a secluded lake, acres of woods, wildlife, pristine pastures and miles of nature trails. Migrating cranes, wildflowers, ripe wild blackberries and mulberries, and fall colors are the beautiful natural backdrop of Ronora.
Ronora is open April through October, and some of the small lodges are also available in winter (closed during high snow season).
We host a wide diversity of groups, retreats, weddings and special getaways. Let's talk about what Ronora has to offer you.

Ronora Lodge & Retreat Center is on the site of historic Camp Watervliet for Girls founded in 1934 by Dr. Henry Tatter and his wife Velda Jordan Tatter. The property was purchased from Dr. Lonnie Myers in 1988 by three friends who share a love for the land. We have restored the historic buildings and increased the acreage to preserve this beautiful natural setting. All our effort goes toward making Ronora Lodge & Retreat Center a place where, in the words of Dr. Tatter, you can "feel Mother Earth, sense Her balance, and find your own."
